    Responsibilities

    We are looking for a Senior Client Specialist to join Bernstein’s Private Wealth Management team to serve in a client-facing role supporting the onboarding of clients across all 19 domestic offices. This dynamic role will require candidates to work closely with our internal and external clients with a specific focus on opening new accounts. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to partner with Financial Advisors to handle all aspects of onboarding new high net worth clients – explaining the opening process, working with them to complete documentation, and sharing knowledge about opening various types of entities.

     

    Senior Client Specialists will:

    • Partner with Financial Advisors to onboard and provide service and support functions to set up new accounts by facilitating the coordination of all aspects of the account creation process
    • Partner with Private Wealth Associates to accomplish a common goal of providing exceptional service to clients
    • Interact and communicate with clients by providing, explaining, and obtaining information needed to establish new accounts
    • Provide expertise surrounding all aspects of the account opening process across a variety of entities
    • Work with clients to facilitate the initial transfer of assets from other firms
    • Coordinate with team members in our Legal and Compliance Departments to obtain final approval of new accounts
    • Oversee the workflow of the specialist team and its members to ensure prioritization and responsiveness meet the needs of the internal and external clients

    Job Qualifications

    Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and possess experience working in client service. Candidates should be client-focused and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere. They should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and an ability to build internal and external relationships.

     

    Desired Qualifications

    Finance degree; 3+ years client service experience. Bernstein will sponsor required series exams, including SIE, Series 7, and Series 63, but candidates with licenses preferred.
