    Responsibilities

    Job Summary


    We are looking for a Separately Managed Account (SMA) Associate within our US Retail Sales division. The SMA service team helps service and support our growing our SMA business across all firms and platforms. They will partner with the national accounts, field sales, legal, operations and portfolio management teams to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.

     

    Job Description


    Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Communicate and manage the SMA account set up process with our field sales and operations teams
    • Partner with field sales to service existing SMA accounts and facilitate ongoing changes
    • Act as a point of escalation on any client account concerns
    • Provide client account reporting for sales and portfolio management
    • Manage the SMA account contract process with operations and legal
    • Train new internal sales associates on the SMA product line up and account set up and servicing processes
    • Communicate with sales leadership and portfolio management on trends and escalated servicing items
    • Proactively identify and project manage process enhancements to improve communication with Financial Advisors and increase scalability of the account opening and servicing processes

    Qualifications

    Job Qualifications & Key Attributes


    The ideal candidate should have:

    • 3 to 5 years of financial services experience preferably in wealth or asset management
    • Basic understanding of separately managed accounts
    • Track record of managing projects and delivering results
    • Strong ability to build partnerships across internal departments ranging from legal, operations and sales
    • Ability to work to tight and changing deadlines
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
    • Experience working with PowerPoint, Excel and is adaptable to new technologies
    • Expertise in Excel is a plus (ie Pivot tables, V-look ups)
    • Bachelor degree education or higher
    • Series 7, 66 (will be required within 6 months of being hired into position if not already held)
