    Bernstein wishes to hire an Desk Assistant for its newly opened India office. He/she will be based in Mumbai and report to the local Head of Sales.


    • The successful candidate will be able to effectively assist the sales and research teams in all aspects of daily business
    • We are looking for someone who can be proactive and flexible as we grow our India office
    • Administrative duties such as: analyst marketing support, travel arrangements, T&E submissions, basic calendar management for analysts based in Mumbai as well as throughout the Asian region
    • This role is diverse in nature and requires someone with a positive attitude to keep things running smoothly in our Mumbai office


    Responsibilities of the Sales assistant:


    • Support salespersons with marketing Bernstein’s global research and brokerage services to the firm’s established and prospective customers
    • Answer client calls and route them appropriately
    • Assist with the KYC process and the onboarding of new clients
    • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for analysts and salespersons
    • Assist in preparing presentations and marketing material
    • Build strong relationships with all other SCB teams


    • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a reputable financial institution, preferably in Equities.
    • Highly motivated, commercially-minded, reliable and willing to stay past required hours as dictated by workload.
    • Solid academic achievement.
    • High quality written and spoken English, good computer skills and a good idea for detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing him/her to evolve in various cultural and professional environments.
    • Self reliant and able to organize himself/herself.
    • Unafraid to work in a “startup” or boutique environment.
