  • Responsibilities

    The Institutional Services Regulatory Reporting (ISRR) group is looking for a senior developer to join the growing team in London.  You will be part of a Global team which also has a presence in the Unided States and India. 


    Key Responsibilities will include

    • Being Part of a Global Regulatory team building and maintaining systems that are critical to the business and solving problems to meet the evolving European regulatory environment. 
    • Delivering high quality changes within agreed deadlines 
    • Preparing validated data-sets for targeted transaction reports 
    • Escalating exceptions and make the required amendments
    • Working closely with Business Analysts, Operations and Compliance to ensure the timely production and correction of reports
    • Investigating defects, utilizing support tools and analysing logs.


    Technical Skills


    • 5-7 years of Development Experience, at least 3 of which should be in Financial Servicesl Industry 
    • Excellent command of SQL and Database concepts 
    • Hands on experience with SSIS, SSRS and ETL tools 
    • Experience with Equity Trading and associated systems 
    • Strong problem solving, Communication and Analytical skills 
    • Scripting experience (Unix Shell, Python) 
    • Strong command of SQL optimization approaches dealing with large datasets 
    • Thorough understanding of development best practices and familiarity with version control 
    • A certain level of familiarity with regulatory reporting is required. Prior experience on MIFID I/II or other regulations (e.g EMIR, Dodd Frank) would be a plus
