    Job Summary


    The Digital team within AB’s Client Group Marketing is looking for an experienced Digital Experience Product Manager to continue our digital transformation by leveraging digital capabilities to help evolve & scale the business. Effective use of digital capabilities is a central tenant to growth and as such AB is looking to build out a best-in-class suite of marketing technology platforms. Based within the digital team, this role will partner with the Client Group’s technology teams to facilitate those capabilities by evaluating, architecting, implementing and maintaining appropriate processes and technology through both vendor products, cloud-based solutions and internal development.

     

    Job Description


    Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Work closely with business stakeholders, marketing and digital teams to support and deliver high quality, consistent digital experiences and campaigns
    • Manage key vendor relationships across a range of digital platforms and cloud-based solutions to define and build a Marketing Technology Cloud for AB, identifying and implementing solutions to support ongoing digital activities
    • Develop and optimize processes and technologies across a wide range of digital activities including: marketing cloud platforms, campaign management, customer data management & analytics, content management & distribution, and marketing operations
    • Partner with technology teams to identify, architect and implement new capabilities in the areas of content management systems, personalization & optimization, analytics tagging & reporting, data management, and user journey mapping
    • Develop and monitor governance controls across digital platforms and execution to ensure consistency in AB’s use of these digital capabilities across business functions and regional markets, as well as consistency in the overall customer experience
    • Empower marketing and digital teams to deliver faster and at scale with greater control of content curation, asset creation and workflow by leveraging digital platforms effectively and appropriately
    • Support the agile delivery of digital initiatives through the effective use of digital platforms and processes, coordinating between development, technology, web hosting, and regional marketing teams as appropriate
    • Provide subject matter expertise across digital marketing technologies, keeping up-to-date with trends and capabilities, leveraging industry thought leaders and technology vendors where appropriate to further support AB’s continuing digital transformation

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

    • Degree educated and/or 10 plus years of experience in digital marketing or technology
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality digital experiences in a B2B and/or B2C environment, leveraging modern digital marketing techniques and technical solutions
    • Demonstrable experience of implementing and running enterprise level digital platforms for large scale, international organizations
    • Experience of working across enterprise digital experience platforms such as Adobe, Oracle, IBM and Salesforce, including content management systems, analytics, targeting and personalization, customer data management, digital advertising operations, etc.
    • Deep technical and process-oriented knowledge of current digital marketing capabilities such as: content management systems, web analytics & tagging, personalization, user profiling & journey mapping, web services & APIs, data warehousing, etc.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented with strong project management skills
    • Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to define and achieve objectives with limited oversight if needed
    • Strong communication skills, particularly around technical requirements and summaries
    • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to build advocacy and respect at all levels
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) while adhering to tight deadlines
    • Experience in Financial Services, specifically Asset Management is beneficial
