OPS Group Description:
The Global Portfolio Administration department provides operational support to the firms Institutional, Private Client and Retail business channels through client servicing, account reconciliation and portfolio administration. The Portfolio Administration team is responsible for the governance and oversight of the all daily reconciliation. Portfolio Administration is also responsible for retained activities including: evaluating the operational impact of tactical/strategic upgrades to AllianceBernstein’s infrastructure, client due diligence meetings, and working with internal/external audit to satisfy regulatory requirements. The Client Servicing team is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the accuracy of client portfolios throughout the account transition lifecycle. The overall responsibility is to achieve operational excellence by consistently providing a superior level of service to our clients while improving efficiencies without compromising controls or risk management discipline.

We are seeking a Nashville based analyst to join our Portfolio Administration group in Investment Management Operations.
Describe the role:
Within Portfolio Administration, the individual will be responsible for the governance and oversight of all daily Reconciliation activities. This includes interaction with AB Sales and Portfolio Management teams, Auditors and Custodian banks. The individual will be expected to work as a part of a team and will need to be able to communicate effectively with various internal and external clients.
Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:
The Portfolio Administration team services a number of internal and external applications. On a daily basis the Analyst will use Microsoft Office; internal applications such as BOSS, SNAP, Portfolio Management System, AceWin and AB Advantage, along with external and potentially new applications that include Bloomberg as well as a number of custodian websites.
