    Responsibilities

    Job Summary


    We are looking for a data owner within our commentary writing and production team. This team is responsible for the creation of high-volume, time sensitive performance commentaries for equity, fixed income and alternative funds for financial advisor and institutional and retail client use globally. The candidate will interact with Marketing (US and global divisions), Legal/Compliance, Fund Performance and Global Fund Administration, and is expected to manage the data process for multiple commentaries on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.


    Job Description


    Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Running all fund performance reports
    • Analyzing the data and composing performance-related language
    • Managing internal relationship with Fund Performance and Global Fund Administration, including tracking outstanding data, identifying data anomalies and trouble-shooting data issues
    • Managing internal relationship with Legal/Compliance, including receiving commentary approvals and filing approvals in system
    • Maintaining process documentation
    • Working in Monthly Reporting System to customize commentaries and distribute to clients

    Qualifications

    Job Qualifications & Key Attributes


    The ideal candidate should have:

    • A bachelor’s degree, Economics/Finance preferred
    • Ability to synthesize data to arrive at a compelling conclusion/tell a story
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to work against strict deadlines and multitask
    • Ability to self-manage and work independently
    • Impeccable attention to detail
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

    Required Skills

    • Expertise in MS Office (especially Outlook, Word and Excel), Adobe Acrobat
    • Working knowledge of SharePoint is preferred but not required
