We are seeking a Nashville-based Derivative Settlements Analyst to join our Settlements Team in the Derivative Operations.

This role will immerse a candidate into the inner working of OTC derivatives to work through the settlements of both trade execution and lifecycle events including corporate actions, credit events and resets. A successful candidate will also be able to cultivate relationships with AB’s dealer middle and back office teams while also coordinating with other internal operations teams.
This role will also offer candidates an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the OTC markets, honing professional skills on presenting to senior audiences and the opportunity to grow within a niche part of the financial industry.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in finance, economics or another relevant discipline and 1-3 years of experience supporting settlement functions related to OTC Derivatives on the sell-side or buy-side.
The Settlements Analyst will need to strongly demonstrate the following:
Our Settlements Analysts typically have track records of outstanding professional performance or academic achievement, along with excellent analytical skills and financial skills as well as strong communication skills. Candidates should have a strong ability to work in a collaborative environment and to present results to both expert and non-expert audiences. Our middle office analysts will use Bloomberg, ICE, Markit, DTCC and Calypso extensively so a thorough understanding of these tools is required.
An understanding of OTC Derivative products or familiarity with general trade support, settlement and middle office functions.
