OPS Group Description:
The Derivatives Operations Department is primarily responsible for the trade management and controls of both standard and complex OTC Derivative activity across Rates, Credit, Equity and FX. As a critical member of Derivative Operations, a Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for the strict control of trades and for liaising with both internal and external contacts, escalating to management where appropriate. The reconciliation team works independently from the Front Office and is key to the control of the business, ensuring the highest level of quality is achieved at all times. The candidate will work closely with senior management across Trading, Sales, Technology, Operations, Audit and Compliance. In this role one should be familiar with various OTC derivative products, proficient with PC skills and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

We are seeking a Nashville based Derivative Reconciliation Analyst to join our Reconciliation Team in Derivative Operations.
Describe the role:
The Reconciliation analyst is responsible for the strict control of trades and for liaising with both internal and external contacts, escalating to management where appropriate. The reconciliation team works independently from the Front Office and is key to the control of the business, ensuring the highest level of quality is achieved at all times. The candidate is responsible for day-to-day settlement of payments and receipts related to both standard and complex OTC Derivative activity across Rates, Credit, Equity and FX. Process knowledge and organizational skills are critical for success in this role, as well as a pro-active approach to the position – daily interaction with Front Office personnel and counterparty contacts is expected. Must have the capacity to handle change and to participate in system testing and the implementation process.
The role supports both standard and complex OTC Derivatives across Rates, Credit, Equity and FX covered all strategic business units at AB. The ideal candidate will have experience the following applications:

The ideal candidate should have a degree in finance, economics or another relevant discipline. 1-3 years experience supporting middle office functions related to OTC and/or Listed Derivatives on the sell-side or buy-side is required.
Our Reconciliation Analysts typically have track records of outstanding professional performance or academic achievement, along with excellent analytical skills and financial skills as well as strong communication skills. Candidates should have a strong ability to work in a collaborative environment and to present results to both expert and non-expert audiences. Our Reconciliation analysts will use Bloomberg, ICE, Markit, DTCC and Calypso extensively so a thorough understanding of these tools is required.
