    IT Group Description:
    Client Group Technology provides development, configuration, testing, project management, and business analyst support for the Client Group’s applications and externally facing websites. The Client Group is comprised of Retail and Institutional Sales, Client Services, Business Development Groups, Marketing, with over 500 staff globally, concentrated in the US, Europe, Asia-ex Japan, Australia, and Japan.


    Describe the role:

    Lead development and configuration for our CRM platform providing strategic enhancements as well as production support.

    Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:

    Most immediately the role will be in support of a broad revamping of our data and toolsets for the Client Group that needs to take place to fuel our future growth globally across channels. This includes the building a new data warehouse, bringing together client interactions, sales, content, readership, and third-party data sets, to enable more nimble, effective, and predictive business intelligence, a re-organization and simplification of our CRM, and the build out of new customized front end tools for our global Sales teams. On an going basis, this role will be key for continuing to deliver on change for our instance and associated applications.


    The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Key job responsibilities include leading full development lifecycle and production support for CRM platform.

    • Collaborate with our internal and external technology and business partners to implement product changes.
    • Hands-on design and development (front-end and server-side development), hands-on database development including schema design and business logic implementation, working closely with other developers to ensure all code is consistent with architectural standards and design.
    • Manage remote teams.
    • Produce technical specification and design documents as required.

    Qualifications, Experience, Education:

    • At least 7+ years of rigorous design and programming experience
    • 4+ years of solid hands-on Salesforce CRM experience (Apex, Visual Force, Lightening)
    • Hands-on experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, C#, AJAX, etc.)
    • Experience with custom development, SOAP and REST APIs
    • Experience integrating with enterprise-level applications though all available integration channels as well as Salesforce-to-Salesforce integrations
    • Strong relational database design/development skills 
    • Experience with ETL tools, Informatica
    • Track record of working on complex projects under aggressive deadlines
    • Experience developing and delivering enterprise class solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales, Client Service, and/or Marketing issues
    • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
